Decrust slices of fresh white bread. Arrange the slices overlapping around the inside and bottom of a greased loaf pan. Brush each slice with melted margarine. Press a smaller loaf pan part way into the larger pan to hold the slices in place. Toast in the oven for 15 minutes, then remove the inner pan and continue to toast till golden brown. Lift from the pan and set on a serving dish. Fill as desired.
Note: Trimmed-off crust can be cubed, toasted, and be springkled on the filling as a garnish.
