Ingredients:


· 1 cup unsalted margarine

· ¼-½ cup olive oil, extra virgin

· ½ cup sugar

· 1 egg

· ½ tsp. baking powder

· 1 tsp. vanilla powder”

· 6 Tbs. almonds, chopped

· 3-4 cups flour

· 3 cups sifted powdered sugar


Directions:


1. Beat margarine and sugar until creamy or for approximately 15 minutes.

2. Add eggs, vanilla, baking powder, and almonds mixing well.

3. To the mixture gradually add flour to make a soft dough.

4. Remove dough onto dry surface.

5. Pinch off pieces of dough and shape into small mounds or crescent shapes and place on greased cookie sheet.

6. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes or until very light brown.

7. Cover cookies with powdered sugar.
