Ingredients:


½ cup burghul (crushed wheat)
1 tomatoes cut into small cubes
½ cup chopped mint
½ cup chopped parsley
½ cup lemon juice from fresh lemons
4 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt


Directions:


Wash the burghul, drain and soak in ½ cup hot water for 20 minutes until all water is absorbed.
Mix with all other ingredients and serve.

Tabouli can be made in many different ways adding or subtracting ingredients such as cucumber, honey, scallion, basil, garlic, pomegranates and more. Try different ingredients to adopt your most favorite healthy and delicious appetizer or side dish.
