Ingredients:


· 3 ½ cups flour, (self-rising)

· 1 tsp baking soda

· 1 tsp. cream of tartar

· 1 tsp. cinnamon

· ½ tsp. cloves

· ½ cup coarsely chopped walnuts

· ½ cup raisins

· ½ cup black currant raisins

· 1 cup tahini

· ½ cup orange blossom water

· ½ cup orange juice

· ½ cup honey

· ½ cup sugar

· ½ tsp. vanilla

· 4 Tbs. brandy

· 12 “ round stainless steel pan


Directions:


1. Preheat oven to 350° F.

2. Sift flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, cinnamon and cloves in bowl.

3. Mix in walnuts and raisins.

4. Blend tahini, orange juice, orange blossom water, honey and sugar for 2-3 minutes in blender.

5. Pour the mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until well blended.

6. Spread the mix on a well-greased 12” round cake pan and bake at 350 for 1 hour.

7. Cool and then turn cake unto serving dish and sprinkle with brandy.

8. Decorate with powdered sugar and keep moist in an air proof container.
