Ingredients:


No need for yeast

20 ounces of whole wheat flour
4 ounces of white flour
1/2 tsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 1/4 cups water
1 tbsp oil


Directions:


Mix all ingredients except the oil and kneed to achieve smooth dough
Add the oil and kneed for 3 more minutes
Cover with a plastic sheet and let it rise for an hour
Kneed again for 2 minutes
Let it rise for 2 hours
Make balls about 2 inch diameter and lay them on a floured surface and cover with a plastic sheet and let it rise for 1/2 hour
Heat a pan or an upside down wok
Kneed a ball with flour to achieve a thin layer and bake for a minute or so on each side
Prepare a paste of ground roasted sesame and honey to spread on the bread for breakfast
In order to keep the bread for long, it may be dried by baking longer each side with a lower heat
