Ingredients:


2 cups of lentil
3 tbsp olive oil
1 onion
2 carrots
1 tsp salt
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp ground cumin


Directions:


Boil the lentil with the salt in water covering about 1 inch above lentil for 15 minutes.
Drain the lentil and cut the onion and carrots to cubes.
Put all ingredients with 4 cups of water adding salt to taste.
Cook until lentil is soft.

Optional: other vegetables maybe used to your taste.
