*A loaf of bread (cottage) cut into slices
*ELEA Extra Virgin Olive Oil
*4 tomatoes, ripe and juicy
1.Toast the bread on both sides over an open fire or on a barbecue, making sure that it does not burn.
2.Once the bread is toasted, peel a clove of garlic and rub it over the toast, so the bread takes on its flavour and aroma.
3.Cut the tomato in half and rub it over the bread until the toast is covered with tomato.
4.Drizzle ELEA Extra Virgin Olive Oil over the toast and add salt.
5.It is now ready to serve
CHEF'S NOTES: You could rub tomato on both sides of the bread, but the normal thing is only on one side. It is generally served with an omelet, cheese or can be used to make any type of cold or hot sandwich.
